Seventy Mile Access Centre
Welcome to the Seventy Mile Access Centre's CAP site. The Seventy Mile Access Centre, or SMAC, is a non-profit society whose primary purpose is to create a dynamic meeting place for area residents (permanent and part-time), tourists and guests. It is located in the old 70 Mile Elementry in 70 Mile House, B.C.. The SMAC Facilities include a Library, Gymnasium, Computer Lab, Games Room, Crafts Room, Kitchen, and Outdoor play are and Ice Rink (in Season). There is also a thrift shop and used furniture store.
"Industry Canada's Community Access Program (CAP) gives thousands of Canadians affordable access to the Internet in places like schools, community centres and libraries. It provides access to those people who might not have computers or Internet access in their homes or workplaces."
